Listen to In Flames’ new Melodeath Rager “State of Slow Decay”

Today (June 13th), In Flames announced their re-signing with heavy metal bastion Nuclear Blast, an expansion they celebrated in one of the best ways possible: the release of a new song, l breathtaking “State of Slow Decay.” The Swedish pioneers premiered the cut live at the Sweden Rock festival earlier this month; now comes the studio version with the single’s up close and personal performance video. Watch and listen above.

Singer Anders Fridén commented: “We always did our own thing without any pressure from the outside world, but being back with Nuclear Blast around the world has certainly inspired us to write a whole host of new tracks that include past, present and future. “State of Slow Decay” includes everything that In Flames is famous for. But it’s more than just a song, it’s a fucking statement. I couldn’t be happier to post this as a taste of what’s to come.”

In Flames are set to return to the US this fall, touring with Fit for an Autopsy, Orbit Culture and Vended. See their full itinerary below.
